early career (1991-1993)

robert horne made debut in 1991 , found himself teaming nelson frazier in carolinas-based pro wrestling federation. 2 kayfabe brothers in team known harlem knights horne performing bobby knight , frazier performing nelson knight. heel team managed george south, led young team 2 pwf tag-team titles on years.

united states wrestling association (1993)

in 1993, harlem knights moved on united states wrestling association based out of memphis without manager george south. while in uswa, team pushed “monster threat” due size , feuded jerry lawler, jeff jarrett, , other faces. work in pwf , uswa got them noticed world wrestling federation (wwf) , signed contract in mid-1993.

when horne , frazier made wwf debut, vicious heel duo had been repackaged faces rap gimmick. wore bright clothes , had positive attitudes. teamed rapping manager “oscar” , had names changed mo (horne) , mabel (frazier) while team name changed “men on mission” (or m.o.m., initials of 3 men). team met moderate success in ring got on due mabel’s unusual size, fun loving personas, , oscar’s crowd pleasing raps. fun loving personalities prominently displayed when appeared @ survivor series 1993 dressed doinks (referred color commentator bobby heenan “doinks on mission”)\ , teamed bushwhackers (also dressed doink) in comedy match.

their next feud against wwf tag team champions quebecers , won titles during united kingdom tour. 2 days later, quebecers regained titles in rematch. while title change reported on wwf television, fact men on mission former champions wasn’t mentioned in future. in summer of 1994, mabel started wrestle more singles matches; seen spectacle of men on mission due size, “special attraction” got used make rising stars good. wasn t until parts of 1995, men on mission started team again on regular basis.

one night after loss, mabel , mo attacked smoking gunns in fit of anger, apologized later on. when asked gunns come ring let them apologize, men on mission attacked them once again , beat oscar, turning duo heel , dropping rapping manager.

after short feud smoking gunns, mabel won 1995 king of ring tournament. became king mabel trusty sidekick being dubbed sir mo , wrestling royalty. when mabel became king, focus shifted team mabel once more sir mo acting more manager , less active competitor mabel challenged wwf championship. 1 of last notable appearances men on mission @ in house 2 beat razor ramon , savio vega. opponents in match british bulldog turned on partner diesel. once diesel moved on feuding mabel feuding british bulldog, mo left wwf while mabel became singles competitor.

independent circuit (1995-2006)

after leaving wwf mo returned memphis , uswa became part of original nation of domination, stable forerunner more famous stable in wwf. mo became sir mohammad , using black supremacist gimmick. uswa version of n.o.d. led pg-13 j.c. ice , wolfie d) , included kareem olajuwon (reggie b. fine), akeem muhamad (big black dog), elijah (the spellbinder), shaquille ali (tracy smothers), randy x, , queen moishe (jacqueline). when faarooq started nation of domination in wwf, uswa version of group disbanded.

horne remain in memphis region wrestling rob harlem, competing under name in uswa, successor “memphis pro wrestling”, , randy hales’ “power pro wrestling”. while in ppw, horne teamed “deon harlem” form tag team “the regulators”. team beat derrick king in handicap match win ppw tag team title, held when promotion closed down in april 2001.

in 1997, horne start own promotion “southern extreme wrestling” both booked , wrestled for. horne’s “southern extreme wrestling” not affiliated southern extreme wrestling promotions organization operates today.

in 2003, bobby horne added yet gimmick long list of gimmicks. on december 30, mabel @ ringside commentating when manager paul wylde came out , introduced “bahamian heavyweight champion” marly pride . wylde started making comments mabel fattest whale mabel took exception to. when big man entered ring, marley pride revealed former tag-team partner mo attacked him , 2 brawled until separated officials. mo , mabel had short feud in memphis wrestling.

in may 2015, worked 4 shows sir mo ultimate championship wrestling in nova scotia, canada. returned maritimes in july partner lord deon (johnson) 3 more shows. on july 30, team - known mom2k - won ucw tag team titles beating sidewalk sam , homeless bob in halifax, nova scotia.
