interfaith dialogue

as advocate of interfaith dialogue, thanks-giving foundation has organized international convocations , seminars promote understanding, harmony, , friendship in community of diverse faith traditions , cultures. has hosted numerous guests @ thanks-giving square since 1976 including president gerald ford, dalai lama, rosa parks, arun gandhi, president george h.w. bush, cardinal francis arinze, martin luther king iii, w. deen mohammed, , archbishop of canterbury george carey.


the thanks-giving foundation sponsors 2 interfaith networks: interfaith council (consisting of representatives 26 faith denominations, covering every major continent of world), , faith forward dallas @ thanks-giving square (a broad , diverse coalition of dallas’ faith leaders).


national day of prayer

in 1981, thanks-giving foundation collaborated president ronald reagan , ambassador anne armstrong name first thursday in may national day of prayer, reviving long-dormant tradition. confirmed congress in 1988, annual event assembles civic, community, religious, government, , business leaders in celebration of unity around prayer , gratitude inclusive of “all faiths in america.”


the organization hosts annual national day of prayer luncheon or event larger dallas community.

the center world thanksgiving celebrates humanity’s oneness in expressing gratitude god , dedicated exploring healing , uniting power of thanksgiving. center has historically gathered creations , traditions of thanksgiving cultures of every continent inspire individual acts , expressions of thanksgiving. has organized world assemblies on topic.
