due renovations cumberland county civic center, portland pirates of american hockey league scheduled play 6 home games @ colisee during 2012–13 ahl season until civic center reopened. however, pirates lease agreement civic center trustees broke apart in dispute on food sales. pirates subsequently played 1 game of entire 2013–2014 home schedule @ colisée. dispute resolved in 2014, allowing pirates return cross insurance arena 2014-15 ahl season.


on december 16, 2014, announced new hampshire fighting spirit north american 3 eastern hockey league relocate lewiston , play home games @ colisee l/a fighting spirit (with l/a standing lewiston-auburn) beginning 2015–16 season. of 2016, fighting spirit play in north american 3 hockey league.
