(mbh 2.29). seems kosala had power extended neighbouring kingdom of kasi south of it, because vrihadvala commanded troops kasi in kurukshetra war. reason consider kasi-kosala single kingdom. period of time in past, kasi have been vassal state of kosala kingdom. grandmothers of kauravas , pandavas called princesses of kasi , times princesses of kosala, attesting fact.


kosala ayodhya capital or central kosala

this original kosala ruled king raghava rama. ruled dirghayaghna, during era. kingdom defeated pandava general bhima, in military campaign east. (mbh 2.29).
