in june 1985 wilder sold golden miller tellings coaches of byfleet, family-run concern had been founded stephen telling in 1972. routes 601 , 603 transferred fountain coaches of feltham october 1985; these routes being combined route 600 (east bedfont hanworth via feltham) in june 1986. golden miller business continued operate routes 602 , 606 until 1988.
in 1989 company taken on midland fox. small number of london transport contracted routes won company on following 2 years. however, 1993 midland fox had been acquired british bus , no longer willing operate tgm. stephen telling re-acquired company financial support julian peddle, , took on classic coaches.
in 2003 company floated on alternative investment market. tgm operates coaches , maintains subsidiaries in cambridgeshire, essex, suffolk, surrey , north east of england, , operates services under classic coaches, excel passenger logistics, flight delay services, link line coaches, network colchester , ofj connections brands.
the company ran bus services in south west london , north west surrey, inheriting through acquisition of capital logistics. these services sold national express in june 2005 , incorporated travel london business. part of deal tellings golden miller became national express contractor, running several coach routes out of cambridge , portsmouth garages.
in june 2007 tellings-golden miller re-entered surrey bus business purchase of wiltax, new haw 20 buses rotala. in december 2007 tellings-golden miller purchased arriva.
in april 2008, tgm acquired excel passenger logistics based @ stansted airport , associated companies excel gatwick , flight delay services based @ manchester airport. in april 2008, wiltax operations scaled routes passing other operators. routes continued run wiltax, tellings-golden miller s heathrow depot. in september 2008, wiltax new haw depot closed, operations transferred tgm s heathrow depot.
in february 2010 haverhill operations of burton s coaches, name, sold yellow star travel services. national express services had been earlier transferred stansted depot of excel passenger logistics. burton s ceased operating in may 2011. in august 2010, tgm group took on arriva shires & essex services harlow garage, network harlow identity local routes (similar network colchester).
on 31 may 2014, tellings-golden miller once again became transport london contracted operator when commenced operating route e10 heathrow depot, first route has operated in london since late 1990s. in january 2016, part of decision consolidate of arriva s transport london routes, route e10 transferred arriva london.
in march 2015, network colchester , network harlow operations transferred arriva southern counties, under control of arriva kent thameside, same parents arriva southend.
in december 2016, tellings golden miller once again became family owned business, reverting own identity.
