in november 1986 national bus company sold maidstone & district in management buyout einkorn limited. in june 1988 new enterprise coaches of tonbridge purchased, followed in december 1991 4 buses , associated kent county council services shearings, , in june 1992 boro line maidstone.
in 1990 british bus purchased cranleigh, guildford , woking based operations of alder valley followed in 1993 colchester borough transport , southend transport.
in april 1995 einkorn sold british bus, had purchased kentish bus in july 1994 , londonlinks in 1988. in august 1995 einkorn renamed invictaway. invictaway name of maidstone & district commuter services london, renamed green line @ same time.
in july 1996 british bus taken on cowie group. invictaway renamed arriva southern counties in april 1998, , arriva transferred london & country (also owned british bus) it. subsidiary operating companies therefore became:

in august 2004 arriva colchester sold tellings-golden miller, although december 2007 sale of tellings-golden miller, colchester once again owned arriva, albeit not under control of arriva southern counties. in october 2009 horsham depot , routes sold metrobus 19 buses.
the coach subsidiary, new enterprise coaches of tonbridge, inherited maidstone & district continues trade under own brand.
in march 2015, network colchester , network harlow operations taken on tellings-golden miller, @ time arriva subsidiary. both operation companies rebranded arriva colchester , arriva harlow respectively.
