Trill Ornament (music)
a trill, known shake , rapid alternation between indicated note , 1 above. in simple music, trills may diatonic, using notes of scale.
sometimes expected trill end turn (by sounding note below rather note above principal note, before last sounding of principal note), or other variation. such variations marked few grace notes following note bears trill indication. trill indicated either tr or tr~~, ~ representing length of trill, above staff. in baroque music, trill indicated + (plus) sign above or below note.
