the second story occurs few months after battle against apocalymon. shows many of digidestined, focuses on tai, matt, izzy, , tk, end saving day when computer virus digimon raises havoc on world through internet. kids must stop evil digimon before provokes launching of nuclear icbm aimed @ japan (where kids live). tai , matt end getting worried digimon (in form of wargreymon , metalgarurumon) badly losing evil digimon diaboromon phase internet , miraculously give them power destroy him in time. both digimon merge, evolving powerful omnimon. however, diaboromon still fast, until izzy comes idea redirect e-mails receiving children watching battle on world via internet slow diaboromon down, allowing omnimon finish him off before missiles hit. in end, deactivated icbm lands harmlessly in tokyo bay. our war game! appears inspired 1983 film, wargames. movie considered canon due izzy s analysis of exveemon , stingmon s dna digivolution in adventure 02, because izzy compares wargreymon , metalgarurumon s own dna digivolution , how 02 character yolei inoue became digidestined. ryo, appears briefly in 02 , has expanded role in tamers, uses computer digidestined.
