skelly purchased 10,000 square foot mansion @ corner of 21st street , madison avenue in 1923. after died in 1957, gertrude donated building , furnishings university of tulsa, sold private owners in 1959. skelly mansion has been added national register of historic places in 1978. on july 5, 2012, university announced repurchase house residence president, live on second floor. ground floor used university special events. structure officially known skelly house.
