history

edgware garage first opened london general omnibus company in 1925 space 24 buses, there plenty of room adjacent underground station had been built. in 1939 new building built next original building become new bus station, while remaining open parking area used store vehicles trolleybus replacement program. in 1984 new 100 bus garage built on site of long closed edgware railway station @ cost of £4.5 million. in 1992 plans made close edgware garage cricklewood garage become functioning garage new facilities. outdoor parking area , bus station became midibus base in 1993, new bus wash , light maintenance facilities provided in yard.


in 1999, london sovereign, having won tenders bus services in north-east london, took 10-year lease on half of edgware garage , invested in new maintenance facility replace former base @ borehamwood. in late 2000, metroline moved other half of garage, making 1 of few garages shared 2 operators. on 25 july 2015 london sovereign commenced operating route 326.

harrow garage opened in 1994. ratp group s smallest london garage holding 42 buses. low roof beam across middle of depot building raised allow double decker s. garage has plot of land next it, owned london sovereign, used park of single decker s due 183 allocation, started on 24 july 2015. 183 split between harrow , edgware majority of buses @ harrow.
