state route 137 spur (sr 137 spur) 1.6-mile-long (2.6 km) spur route exists entirely within southwestern part of marion county.


it begins @ intersection sr 137 mainline , heads northwest until meets northern terminus, intersection sr 355 mainline, southeast of fort benning.


sr 137 spur not part of national highway system, system of roadways important nation s economy, defense, , mobility.


the roadway become sr 137 spur established in april 1932 unnumbered road columbus buena vista. later year, sr 103 designated on road. in 1937, current path of sr 137 spur had completed hard surface . between june 1960 , june 1963, sr 103 truncated west of fort benning. part of former path through marion county redesignated sr 137 spur.
