foyt enterprises won irl titles in 1996 scott sharp , 1998 kenny bräck. bräck won indianapolis 500 team in 1999.


in 2006 team hoped resurrect experienced driver felipe giaffone , more level playing ground brought spec engine. however, after strong start season, team struggled after indianapolis 500 , parted ways giaffone after eighth race. jeff bucknum brought in fill seat rest of year.


in 2007 foyt announced larry foyt take on team manager , darren manning signed team s driver. manning captured 3 top-five finishes in 2 years team, including second place in 2008 @ watkins glen international. however, high-profile veteran vítor meira becoming available following 2008 season, foyt signed him replace manning.


foyt enterprises began 2009 indycar series season sponsored abc supply , fielding vitor meira, injured in indianapolis 500. ryan hunter-reay , paul tracy took on driving duties rest of 2009 season. meira returned in 2010 split team after season. japanese driver takuma sato joined foyt s team in 2013, winning year @ long beach. team announced in october field second car (no. 41) full-time in 2015 jack hawksworth.
