there 8 majors within sem, namely: management science , engineering, finance, economics, accounting, corporation strategy , policy, marketing, human resources management, , technology economics , management.

the school operates number of prominent research centers, including: research center contemporary management, research center technological innovation, national entrepreneurship research center, china center financial research, national center economic research, china retail research center, china business research center, center china in world economy, research center contemporary management , technological innovation, , china insurance , risk management research center.


faculty

since 2006, tsinghua sem has been recruiting faculty reputable ph.d. programs around world. majority of new faculty members have international educational backgrounds, representing such alma maters , prior faculty assignments harvard, yale, wharton (university of pennsylvania), mit sloan, , stanford.


student body

tsinghua sem s undergraduate program known in mainland china 1 of 2 competitive undergraduate business programs (the other being undergraduate program in guanghua school of management of peking university). more half of students admitted tsinghua sem rank in top 10 in respective provinces on national higher education entrance examination (also known gaokao).
