all-star game

on february 21 louisville thunder hosted aisa all-star game. instead of using thunder’s home field of broadbent arena @ state fairgrounds, match played @ more intimate louisville gardens in downtown louisville. in departure previous season, both squads composed of mixed rosters. in past, host team had faced all-stars rest of league’s teams. northern division all-stars wore blue jerseys, while southern squad wore grey. players on winning side each received $100 bonus. northern division squad defeated southern counterparts score of 7–5. louisville forward zoran savic (1 goal, 2 assists) , canton goalie, jamie swanner (11 saves, 2 goals given), named game’s offensive , defensive mvps respectively. although neither game come pass, announced 1988 all-star game hosted tampa bay, 1989 game being awarded milwaukee.
