early life

albanian volunteers unit fighting against serbian army 1919-1920

qazim mulleti born in sulejman pasha (mulleti) neighborhood, in tirana, albania, ottoman empire on december 20, 1893.

he had taken first studies in monastir, continued @ zosimea gymnasium in yannina, , later conducted studies @ galatasaray mekteb-i sultanisi in istanbul, gold medal. polyglot. mulleti knew turkish, arabic, german, french, italian, latin, greek, , serbo-croatian. fond of horseriding, ice skating, , collecting souvenirs – in house put aside 1 floor purpose of mini museum.

in 1912, along many other albanian students of time, participated in raising albanian flag in tirana , vlora (see albanian declaration of independence). in 1914, 1 of 4 adjutants of prince wied. followed wied vienna, lived until 1920. there, direct support , intervention of austrian major general ignaz trollmann, covered balkan region, mulleti followed additional studies in field of military diplomacy of war, future enemy ahmet zogu , others. selected member of albanian delegation (36 people) met archduke franz ferdinand of austria congratulating him rise in power.

mulleti return in albania after zog s exile , italian invasion in april 1939. elected mayor of tirana (1939–1940). well-known architectural objects in tirana initiation or given life while in office, i.e. hotel dajti, today s national archeological museum building, academy of arts building, council of ministers building (albanian: kryeministria), etc. in 1941 got nominated special emissary liberation of albanian territories of kosovo , debar area. in 1942, became acting prefect of tirana.

family

while in vienna, precisely in 1929, married hajrie kusi. son reshit child came out of marriage. rest of family moved albania , reunited in 1939.

mulleti leave albania before communist partisans took on leaving behind wife , son time. suffered 45 years in hard-labor concentration camps in tepelenë, savër, gradisht, porto palermo, etc. hajrie died in 1980, while in concentration camp in savër (lushnjë) , suffering years alzheimer.

mulleti died on august 28, 1956, in vicolo delle grotte, rocca di papa, near rome.
