reproduction – reserve hanger, canada aviation , space museum in ottawa, ontario. triplane reproduction of n5492 rnas black maria (raymond collishaw) built american amateur airplane-maker carl r. swanson between 1963 , 1966. museum purchased in 1966, , provided , installed clerget 9b rotary engine. wing commander paul a. hartman piloted aircraft during first flight, on may 5, 1967 @ rockcliffe airport. remained airworthy , flew on special occasions until 1971.

n5486 – on static display @ central air force museum in monino, moscow. supplied russian government evaluation in may 1917. in russia, aircraft fitted skis , used operationally until captured bolshevists. aircraft served in red air force, trainer, , rebuilt many times.


united kingdom


n5912 – on static display @ royal air force museum london in london. 1 of 3 aircraft built oakley & co. ltd. , delivered in late 1917. aircraft saw no combat service , instead served no.2 school of aerial fighting , gunnery @ marske. after war, imperial war museum displayed aircraft in temporary exhibition until 1924. in 1936, royal air force acquired , restored aircraft, flying in several raf pageants @ hendon.
reproduction – airworthy @ shuttleworth collection in old warden, bedfordshire. aircraft registered g-bock , marked dixie ii. represents original dixie, serial n6290, of no. 8 naval squadron.
